Videoton Holding Rt. In Co-operation with the local Government of Törökszentmiklós as well as with HM Radar Radio Technique Rt, CLAAS Hungaia Kft, Nedworks Törökszentmiklós Kft.on the same area established a consortium and converted the 23-hectare area into an industrial park. The consortium obtained the titleof the Industrial Park through a tender invited by the Ministrg of Economy in 1999. Törökszentmiklós Industrialization Kft. was charged with operating it.
Törökszentmiklós Town is a small town with a population of 24.000 people and bears a significant surrounding area. The 10 settlements of the statistical EU small region gather 45.000 inhabitants altogether. 3 more towns provide labour force market background in the respect of employment. In the respect of human infrastrukture the 3 secondary schools in the town are of determining factor. Currenthly, the town provides daytime education for 1.300 students. Health care is ensured on 17 special fields besides the basic GP care. In january, 2002 the thermal water of the open-air
bath was officially declared medicinal water which also offers developing
facilities in the 6-hectare greenbelt. Companies operating in Videoton industrial Park
Törökszentmiklós can be found in Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok county, 120 km from Budapest and 20 km from Szolnok on the Hinghway E-60 (No.4). The Industrial Park lies on bofh sides of the mainroad No.46, 1,5 km from the town centre. The aread of the Industrial park on the left side
of the road is 21.9 hectares. The ara is supplied with full infratructure
and it can be easily reached by road and rail. The Industrial Park
will be enlarged with furfher 25 hectares (green-field investment
area) The implementation of the complex infrastructure of this area
is to be completed by autumn, 2002. The possibility of the industrial
railway enlargement is provided, as well.
The Local Council encourages the settling companies and their investments creating new workplaces with different supporting forms.Furfher information about the national and regional subsidies can be obtained from Törökszentmiklós Industrialization Kft. (Ministroy of Economy, County organizations, etc.) Skilled labour force is always available for the settling companies. Adult trainees and further education are adjusted to the demands. The main aim of the Industrialization Kft operating the Industrial Park is to provide a suitable place and services of high standard for the setling companies. Managing investments can be provided, as well, if demanded. We encourage settling of such home and foreign companies in the Industrial Park which help the economic development of the town. The settling companies may purchase or hire the land at a favourable price. Purchasing of the land has already begun. Törökszentmiklós Town helps the settling companies with quick administration and significant exemption from tax.
